Accessibility options

Video games are now far more than a way to simply pass the time, and their target demographic has expanded significantly over the years. It is not uncommon now for developers to add accessibility options to their games; that is to say, features designed to make the experience more customisable - and hopefully therefore more enjoyable, or even just playable - for players. This can be something as basic as different difficulty options to something more specific, such as the ability to adjust whether you hold or press a button to activate a feature, hints for puzzles (or even the ability to skip them entirely) and auto-assist/invincibility modes to make things like combat easier.

How do you feel about accessibility options in video games? Are there any that you utilise if they're included to make the experience more enjoyable? Are there any options you feel games should include as a standard feature? Any games you feel could have benefited from the inclusion of a specific feature?

I'll say it now: Soulsborne titles should have had different difficulty modes, and absolutely nobody would have been harmed by this.
