I've been trying to add new tiles to FireRed. I first tried to add some benches and I succeeded. After adding some around the map, I saved it. When I reloaded Advance Map, the tiles were changed to some weird stuff. I tried again in a backup; the same thing happened.

Here's two pictures, one before inserting the custom tiles and the other after reloading:

    Spoiler:

I followed Le pug's Tile Insertion For AdvanceMap For Dummies Tutorial. What am I doing wrong?

Did you insert your new tiles in "Tileset 0" or "Tileset 1" part? Which palettes are you using?
Did you click on "write palette changes to ROM"?

I think the problem was me forgetting to write palette to ROM. I will test it out tomorrow and see if it works.
