I have a discussion topic for you all today, so as we all know johto is right next to kanto and hoenn is a small distance away from johto. this begs the question could an emerald rom with FrLg textures and overworld sprites replacing incomplete, corrupted or unused ones allow you to with enough file size allow recreate Johto and maybe a portion of Kanto? i mean the music that is unused and already existing in frlg
and Emerald would make it slightly easier so assuming i knew how to this lets just say if there was a way to make say a ticket that goes from say slateport or lilycove go to Cianwood town? i mean there is a ticket that can take you to where mew is and thats quite a long journey a faraway place and if that is possible this definitely should be atliest in terms of believability.
well the first thing i can think about is if you wanted an accurate space between hoeen and Johto you could add some water routes and then have the coast on cianwood also since the battlesprites of the johto and kanto gyms leaders or the elite four etc this means we probably have to find a way to stuff all that stuff in from frlg so if anyone has any ideas let me know(btw this doesnt have to just be an Emerald exclusive idea you could start from kanto in FrLg but that means you would have to do two regions at once.)
