AdvanceMap - Can't load FireRed?

    Well I don't even know if I'm posting this in the right spot ^^;

    Anyway, I'm super new to rom hacking (I've made attempts in the past, but could barely wrap my head around it all then. Decided to give it snother go ^^;) But when I open up AdvanceMap (version 1.95) and try to load a FireRed rom, it gives me the "CityNameAmount is only 110 not 147." error.

    Anyone know what's up with that?

    I'd like to ask, has this ROM been used before? Or with any other tool? Try using a clean one if it has been used already. :D
     
    Make sure you're using FireRed 1.0

    Hmm... Where did you download AdvanceMap 1.95? Maybe the issue is with the tool, and not the ROM. I've tried Fire Red 1.0 before myself on AdvanceMap 1.95 and works fine. Would you be able tell us where you downloaded AdvanceMap? :D
     
    I honestly don't remember where I got it from. I downloaded it a couple years back, when I was first trying to start romhacking, but gave up because I couldn't understand scripting at all. I've kept the .zip file ever since.

    Although, to be honest, after I hit 'ok' on that text box, it proceeds to load the rom anyway. So I guess it was weird, but it doesn't seem to be an actual issue. Though now I have a new issue in the fact that AM has suddenly become unable to save the rom. I'm wondering if it had anything to do with the fact that I'd recently edited a map?

    Ok, I think you should try re-download AdvanceMap, I'll give you some links to where you can download it from the creator, but right now I'm on tablet. I'll get on my computer, and edit in the links now.

    Edit: Ok, so AdvanceMap itself, all credits go to LU-HO Pok?, (if that's how you spell it, sorry) you can go here to download AM 1.95 again. :D
