After creating my own Pokedex, I cannot catch Pokemon!

Hey there, when I create my own Pokedex, it works fine, but then I can't catch any Pokemon, and this shows up.

If you can tell me how to fix this please do.
Again, this happens when I make a new Pokedex, and catch a Pokemon, it registers the Pokemon, but I don't get the Pokemon.

I still obtain the starter gift Pokemon.
