-She got episodes dedicated to her and her blackrose persona (From her being a little kid to her going to duel academy and going on rampage to going to the arcadia movement and meeting sayer)
-She got episodes dedicated to her learning how to turbo duel (WRGP arc)
-When she's not dueling in the WGRP arc, she is part of the pit crew who helps them gather data and strategy abt the opponents.

Aki got more development than Asuka. Duels are about the same, but in character development Aki > Asuka.
 
I just think asuka is better caus she's way more independant and self reliant, aki kinda freaks me out when she goes all weird, glad she's lost those powers now. That d-wheeeler episode is funny, I'm sure motorcycle accidents usually end in errr oh yea death, she's immortal. I soooo laughed when sayer gets eaten by earthbound immortal ccaryhua. Best 5ds moment ever.

Well Aki didnt lose her powers, she just learned how to control it and now go psycho and use tentacle rape gigaplant crazy on people.

and for the deck I suggest running Gigaplant to help swarm the field
 
She said in a recent episode that they are gone now because she no longer needs them and they were evil, she stopped using them and now she can't at all.
My fav 5ds character has got to be jack atlas though, he so stubborn it's hilarious

example 1:
Bruno: oh no our data has been wiped
yusei: who did this?!
Jack: SOMEBODIES EATEN MY POT RAMEN!!!

Example 2:
mina: jack, I love you!
Jack: there's no time for that now (walks off)
mina: ...!
 
I re-watched it, she didn't lose them, she just doesn't want to use her "cursed power" since its not necessary to help people.
 
Yeah, she said in a recent episode (the duel between Yusei and Placido) that she doesn't need the 'cursed' power after saving a girl about to die without it. I've added Gigaplant as well. Anything else?

next turn gemini summon gigaplant > get lonefire > ditch lonefire > get tytannial

rinse repeat. use gigaplant to re-use lonefire, lonefires gets strong beaters tytannials protects you from spell/trap/monster effect :]
