    Is there any reason for me to evove a kadabra into an alakazam at like lvl 30 vs 50

    is it betternto evolve it early?
     
    If you can, evolve your Kadabra as soon as possible, except if you want a challenge. It still learns the same moves at the same levels, but gets some important stat improvements.
     
    I'd evolve go ahead and evolve it. Ask in the team help thread/simple Q&A thread next time, though. One little Alakazam doesn't deserve his (or her) own thread.
