3rd Gen Ally and her Lightscreen

Yeah...
I was playing Battle Factory last night, trying to get some BP for a choice band.
I used lightscreen and such (a lanturn was pwning my team, it was total crap) and when it faded and stuff, it kept saying "Ally's Light Screen has faded" or whatever it is, but it said Ally. My name isn't Ally in the game, and the poke was a rental, so it had no nickname. It is a glitch or what?

Well, I just got through playing with a Light Screen on Emerald, and it does the same thing for me. But it wouldn't say "Brendan's Light Screen faded!" Or maybe it would and Nintendo was too cheap to change it XD :paranoid:. Either way, unless you start seeing Bad Eggs, there's nothing to worry about.

"Ally" is used to represent your side of the battle. It says "Ally" instead of your Pokémon's name because Light Screen is a move that works even after you switch a Pokémon out.

An ally is your partner in battle. In these games it is used to represent your team, as I said.

Ohhh, like ally the noun. Ha! I took it to be the name, like a shortened Allison, or something.

Yea dont worry the only Glitch or error in Emerald is when Steven says the Space center crisis in Sootoplis City
