Question: Am I allowed to put a hack walkthrough here if I have yet to make the hack?

    I have been designing a walkthrough for my game, Pokemon League Masters: Fire and Ice. However, it is mostly just plans and writing. I was hoping by posting a walkthrough of the game I can get spriters/programmers to help me out. I have little to no programming experience.

    I have 5 sections of the walkthrough complete. They are as follows

    1. The Regions
    -Geography
    -Cities of the Gildor

    2. The New Things
    -New Items and TM List
    -New Moves
    -New Pokemon

    3. The League
    -Gym Leaders of the Gildor
    -gym leaders of the Virdon
    -the League Generals and League Supreme

    4. Important Characters

    5. The Game Walkthrough
     
    I think it'd be better to post in the progressing hacks section and then maybe add the walk through with an explanation. No one would know what you're talking about if you just posted a walk through to a game no one has seen or played, and that defeats the purpose of a walk through.
     
    The walkthrough is basically the explaination. It tells what I want implemented in the game and such.

    Oh so it's more of a progress list? Also, I thought you haven't made the hack yet so there really...wouldn't be much of a list.

    Still, even then I'd recommend you first explain what game your hack is based off, its name, its storyline, a few screenshots etc. You know, some of the staples before you make your hack walk through. That way the thread would serve a bit more purpose because others will know exactly what your changes/implementations relate to. (Not just a "hack")

    I'm not too sure what requirements threads posted in Emulation and ROM hacking need to meet in order for them to not break the rules so I'd definitely encourage you to message one of the ROM Haking & Emulation mods. ( karatekid552, DrFuji, giradialkia ) I'm sure they'd definitely be able to lend you a proper hand.
