An Alakazam's Tale

Many years the universe was created by the almighty pokemon Arceus. It crafted it with its thousand arms. He started off with a bunch of different large round rocks in the vastness of space. Each one represented something, there was a green one that represented nature all earthen pokemon lived their. A purple one where the ghost pokemon resided. A red one where the pokemon of flame put their passion. A yellow planet where the electric pokemon lived out their lives. A blue one where the water pokemon resided. A white one where all the flying pokemon lived. Arceus called these Six formations planets. Arceus could not take the full responsibility of looking after all the planets it was too much work. So he did what he though best. He split himself creating many other pokemon called legendaries. The pokemon that he created went into categories, he three dogs, Entei,Raikou, and Suicune. There were also three birds Moltres,Zapdos,and Articuno. Then there were two who would bring the night and day those were two pokemon called Ho-oh and Lugia. Ho-oh controlled the sun whilst Lugia controlled the moon. Then he created pokemon to help move time those are known as Palkia and Celebi. Soon after he created Dialga to rule all outside of the planets. Dialga soon grew corrupted due to a pokemon named Giratina. Giratina also corrupted the dog pokemon Raikou and Suicune also to fall to corruption was Articuno and Moltres. Soon after they all joined forces all the planets collided creating one called Earth. The legendaries went to battle to see who controlled what. They all matched evenly so decided to build a kingdom in each of the six corners of the world. "

The old Alakazam coughed and closed his book. The children began running around and acting out what they had just heard. "Now, Now children settle down..."

The children all turned to him and waited on what he had to say.

"Someday, a great peril will come to this world"

The children turned back to their to play, all of them except for one. The one stared wide-eyed at the Alakazam.

Now the legendary pokemon that have been corrupted have created a new way to torment underling pokemon. They call the way 'Natural Disasters' this includes fires, heavy rains, heavy winds, earthquakes and thunderstorms.

Everyone wants the world the back to it's normal little self, peaceful and tranquil. However there are a few pokemon who believe in the legendaries as gods.

Pokemon have decided to stand up for themselves and take back their live and not let it be ruled by some 'legendary' pokemon.

Rules

1.)I am a the creator and ruler of th thread, this means that I make the final decision on all things.

2.)You may have one and only one character.

3.)No Godmodding, Powerplay, or anything of the sort. No one wants to play with no one who never loses.

4.)Romance and Violence aloud. Infact violence is encouraged, but dont use it over extensively. Also dont go into to much detail because one pokemon isn't pokemon tearing eachother into shreds and eating eachother. and two not all people like that much detail.

5.) Bunnying is also aloud, only to an extent if you give someone something you can make them take it. If you talk to someone you can make them turn around. Little things like that. You can also appoint somone to sort of move along you character if you are going to be absent for an extended period of time.

6.) I have the right to deny any one that i want to deny.

7.)I expect Literacy come on if you can not write more than four senteces wait untill you can before you post. You shuould at the minimum have 2 Paragraphs. Paragraphs consist of 6-8 Well Written sentences. I also don't want senteces like 'Tim Ran.' These are okay sometimes.

8.)You start off the first evolution of your pokemon because it would be no fun being a charizard at the very beginning

9.)Reservations for a pokemon will only be made if you have down 'Name' 'Age' 'Species' 'Personality' and 'Rp Sample.'

10.) I have the right to add edit and remove any rules that i want to.

There is only one of every pokemon allowed to make each Su as unique as possible.

You can have up to five moves. These can be level moves,egg moves and tm/hm moves as well

I make the final decision of when you evolve just pm me if you think you earned it

I will not allow you to be a legendary so if your Su is based around one be prepared to be rejected.

I am the only one allowed with two characters, unless I state otherwise. The reason that I have two.. well you will see later on.

Appearance: Blade, is not like a normal Seviper not at all. His black color is a dark shade of gray, that most do not notice at first glance. The yellow markings, are to a lighter tint. That is also hard to notice when you first see him. Then the most noticeable difference on Kutot is that his red fangs, and tail blade are a lush green color.

[Wolf in the Rain]

That was quick. He's a copy n' paste of my character.

Name: Volt

Species: Pikachu

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Volt looks like any normal Pikachu. He has bright yellow fur and two red circles on his face. He also has a lightning shaped tail and three black strips on his back running horizontally across his body. Unlike other Pikachus however, he has a black stripe across his muzzle. This distinguishes him from other PIikachus and was often made fun of because of it. He also always wears a necklace with a fragment of a light ball which he was given when he was younger. He also carries a single compartment, black and silver sports bag with a lightning bolt on it. It is filled with tomes and stories from his town's destroyed library.

Personality: Volt is smart and usually thinks things through, although he may not show it. Nevertheless, Volt can also be very competitive and be swayed by anger and his own rash sense of nature. If he feels someone is ahead of him or looses a battle, he will train hard to get better.
Volt is always fascinated by myths and legends often going to great lengths or traveling far just to hear a good one. In the town where he used to live, there was a great collections of tomes and scrolls. When Volt was not battling or practicing for battles, he could usually be found here. Some of his favorite ones he can recollect word for word, like the story of Alakazam.
At a young age, Volt loved playing mock battles with other Pokemon.this taught him to think fast in dire situations. He now is able to strategize fairly well, often trying the unexpected to get the edge over his opponents. In some cases, he can think many moves ahead. But in most battles or situations, if he looses his head or gets frustrated enough, he often goes for power over tactics. When this happens, he must calm down quick to avoid getting injured or loosing.

History:Volt was born into a small town where there was a huge library. Although many other Pokemon went to the more historical sections, Volt would always be in the Myth section.
When Volt was 10 his father gave Volt a light ball to help him in his battling. However, one day when Volt was exploring a cave, he accidentally disturbed a Rydon's slumber and it charged recklessly at him. He tried stopping it with Thundershock but to no avail. It then charged head on to Volt, shattering the light ball. Volt now wears one of the fragments around his neck. He has since learned Iron Tail so this would not happen again.
About three weeks ago, his village was hit by a mysterious earthquake, splitting it in two and separating him from his family. He ran one way and his family another, only to be hit by a rock and was knocked unconscious. He woke up under a pile of rubble and freed himself from it. He first searched for his family, then any other survivors but to no avail. Eventually, he came upon the library, which was split in two. He searched inside and found a map and a few surviving tomes, myths and scrolls, including Alakazam's story. Remembering the story. Volt decided to take on the legendaries for destroying his home.

Other: Volt values speed and tactics over power in most situations (except when he gets frustrated), so he has spent most of his training exercises doing speed training. This makes him faster than other Pikachu(s).
Volt does not like getting wet, due to the fact that he may shock himself (or others) in the water.

Prelude:
Volt awoke to nothing but darkness. Pain and darkness. His head had a steady throbbing, like a drum beating and his ears ringing. He could faintly hear screaming and chaos. Everything went black again.

Volt then awoke, a slim ray of sun shone into his eyes through the rubble.
"Wha- What Happened"

Then he remembered, an earthquake, and all of the townspeople, screaming and running. The earth beneath his feet had split in two, separating him and his family. His family! He had to get free. Quickly he unleashed a Thunderbolt, clearing away all the rubble.
He then took a look around, the whole town had been destroyed. The houses were reduced to a few stones and a giant crack had formed through the middle of the Town Square, making it impossible to make it to the other side of the town. He was flabberghasted. Volt had heard about other disasters hitting other towns, but he never thought that it would happen to him.

"Mom! ... Dad! ... Anyone?!" Volt shouted, looking for anyone that could've still been in the town.

After hours of searching, he came across the town's library, it's crowning achievement. It had been split in two. All of the hours which he had spent in there studying, had now been lost along with the everything inside. He walked to the front door, a heavy pillar had blocked the entrance, sealing it off. He looked around and saw that there was a small gap in the wall. If he was anything but a Pikachu, he wouldn't have been able to fit. He searched around, noticing a few fires were still lit in the corner. Most sections were sealed off by either fallen debris or the huge crack in the earth, but the History and Myth sections looked like they were still intact. When he got there, he reliezed that he was incorrect, most of the shelves were either burnt or destroyed. Volt felt a feeling of remose, everything about his life had been destroyed or lost. He felt the wind blow against his face through the open hole in the library a scroll rolled off of one of the shelves and stopped at his feet. Volt reached down and grabbed it. As fate would have it, it was one of his favorites, Alakazam's story of the world. Volt didn't even have to read it, he had it memorized.

He looked to where the scroll had come off of. It was the only shelf where everything was intact. He grabbed a bag on a desk which someone had left in all of the panic. It looked like a silver and black compartment sports bag with a Lighting Bolt on the front. Volt emptied all the components except for a few Oran berries, and filled it with tomes and scrolls about myths and legends. He also stuffed a few history scrolls in too. Noticing a map on the wall, he took it as well. When the bag was stuffed to the brim he solemnly turned to the crack in the wall where he entered. He threw the bag through first. As he was about half-way out, he looked back, noticing a peace of paper on a table, fluttering in the wind. He climbed back into the library and turned it over. It was an escape plan! It called for all citizens to go to Liun in case of disaster.
With new found enthusiasm, Volt climbed out of the library. His family and the people he knew were most likely safe in Liun. He looked east, the direction of Liun, eager to set off to meet them. But then, his excitement vanished when he saw that to the East was where the crack in the earth had formed. He would have to go around the lake and the crack, just to see them. Volt, although he loved his family, knew this wouldn't help anything. He didn't even have enough supplies to even reach halfway to Liun. But, knew that he had to go somewhere and find out what happened, and stop the cause.
Taking one last look at his old home which had now been so brutally destroyed, Volt thought about Alakazam's story again decided to leave for Embree, the last place Alakazam was seen hoping to find answers about where the earthquake and all of the disasters were coming from from and how, if possible he could stop them.


(3 days later, Volt meets a Pelipper and asked it to send word of his survival to the townspeople and his parents and to tell them about his quest to stop the natural disasters from happening)

"Comon comon comon" Chris chanted as he waited in his cabin.
The boat had been stopped in port for hours. Apparently, one of the trainer's Onix broke out of it's pokeball and the crew had spent the last hour trying to put it back in. Chris glanced at the clock, 4:00, only an hour until Professor Oak closed the lab to new trainers and he wouldn't be able to get a Pokémon for another year. "Assuming there are any left..." he mumbled to himself. After a half-hour more of waiting a voice came over the intercom

"This is your captain speaking, sorry for the delay. We will now be de-embarking the ship. Thank you for patience and we hope your enjoy your stay."

Chris quickly grabbed his bag and ran off the ship.

Glancing at his watch he saw that he only had 15 minutes left, and he was still 2 miles away from Pallet Town.

In Pallet Town, Professor Oak was packing up "Well, I guess there are no more trainers for today, guess ill head to Delia's for dinner."

Suddenly someone busted through the door
"Proffesor- Oak- I'm- here- I- made it." stammered Chris

"Hm I was wondering if you would show up, its almost 5. You must be...umm..."

"Koji (see bio)" replied Chris

"Ah yes, Koji, you called on the ship, correct?"

"Yea"

"Alright let's get you your first Pokémon, shall we?"

"Ok, I though really hard about this, and I'm going to choose Charmander!"

"Umm... remember, you are late..."

"Oh...Yeah... How about Squirtle?"

"Nope"

"Bulbasaur?"

"No"

"Pikachu?"

"Sorry"

"Anything"

"Well...umm"

Suddenly the Phone rang. "Oh, I should get that. Koji, can you wait here?"

"I guess..."

Chris sat down, head between his hands. He couldn't think of what he would do if he couldn't get a Pokémon. He couldn't go back to Sootopolis and he couldn't stay at Pallet.
He could slightly overhear Professor Oak. Apparently he was talking to someone named 'Elm'.
About 10 minutes later. Professor Oak returned.

"Well Koji, that was Professor Elm, one of the Professors in the Johto region, he has one Pokémon left."

"Really which one?! What type?"

"He sending it over now"

Chris looked at the computer, and saw a light coming from the PC transporter, it shaped into a ball which Professor Oak picked up.

"Koji, meet your new partner, Totodile." With that Professor Oak opened the ball, revealing a Totodile. It looked like any normal Totodile, except for the one green stripe running horizontally across it's snout.

"Well, I guess we're going to be partners Totodile.

"Totodile" it replied jumping onto Chris's backpack. It then proceeded to throw out a few things before getting back onto it.

"Umm...Totodile, we need the map... and my wallet... and the sleeping bag..."

"Ha, looks like it likes you. Professor Elm wanted to look at that green stripe across it's snout, but he thought that you would need it more and that it would be happier with you."

"(Lol) Yeah"

"Well Koji, if you want to catch up to the other trainers, you better leave ASAP. Here is your pokedex and 5 pokeballs."

"Alright. Thanks Professor Oak, next time you see me, I'll be at the Indigo Plateau!"

"Ha ha. They all say that."

"Ready, Totodile? Let's go!"

"Totodile"

And with that, Chris and Totodile left the Lab, ready to start their adventure.

Name: Shion

Species:Gligar

Gender: Female

Age:15

Appearance: Shion looks like a normal Gligar, but she's a bit smaller than most her species and weighs a bit less, and rather than the light pinkish purple, she's more of a dark violet (like the DP game sprites) With blue wings like a flying squirrel, scorpion claws, tail with a stinger, long, pointed ears and triangle-shaped eyes. Shion is often teased about her liking of water and preference of walking rather than flying, but she just tells all who tease her, that she'll be the first swimming Gligar ever and she'll be stronger than them all.

Personality: Shion is headstrong and is often seen doing things on her own, refusing help from he brothers she hates being called weak and underestimated just because she's a girl, Aaron often grates her nerves with his comments, knowing it will set her off she will always try to prove the Pokémon wrong and has a bit of an ego and is somewhat cocky, being raised by 3 brothers will do that to you. Though Shion may seem a bit rough around the edges, she a nice Pokémon, she hates being teased and sometimes kids annoy her, but Shion will go out of her way to help those in need.

History: Being the youngest of 4 Shion is teased a lot, not only because of her odd ways, but also because she refuses to evolve, like her three older brothers, who've all evolved into Gliscor. Her parent's have no problem with her not evolving, well at least they wouldn't, if they were still around her parents had disappeared when she was just a hatchling. One day they were out hunting for the family and then they never returned, after words, the oldest of the four, Tsume took charge and raised all three of them, he was the first to evolve, then came the twins Kain and Aaron Kain being older than Aaron by 2 seconds, Aaron's the more devious of the two.

Aaron is the one Shion mostly argues with, while Kain is more mellow and relaxed of the twins, Tsume acts as leader and father of the group and should anything ever happen to him Kain will take his place and lead the family. Shion first became enraptured with water, when she was younger, around 7-years of age, a few month's after her parents had mysteriously disappeared, she was sitting at a nearby stream, minding her own business while Kain and Aaron were battling nearby and on accident, due to Aaron hitting Kain pretty hard, he was knocked back into Shion who got knocked in the water.

Shion was confused, in pain and sinking fast, she had been under water for a good 5 minutes, while Aaron and Kain however were freaking out, blaming one another for Shion's trip down under and while this was going on above the surface, underwater Shion was panicking, holding her breath while she flailed about in the dark murky water, lucky for her a school of Barboach and Wishcash were swimming by, seeing the drowning ground type they quickly bought her to the surface, where she took in all the air she needed and thanked the Barboach and Wishcash when the sun's warm rays hit her.

Upon noticing their younger sister alive Kain and Aaron swept up a weakened Shion in their arms and embraced her like no tomorrow, apologizing greatly for not being able to do anything and for knocking her in the water, After that Shion had gotten these weird urges to get in the water again, but this time she took it step by step, first with shallow puddles and shallow lakes, where she had learned how to swim, thanks to a kind Marill who offered to teach her, eventually the teaching paid off an Shion knew how to swim and water didn't hurt her all that much.

One day her ego got the best of her and she challenged a very skillful Golduck to a battle, to prove that she was the best water resistant ground type ever, but sadly the Golduck beat her in 3 minutes flat with a powerful Water Gun, because she had managed to hold off the water for a little bit but then she had begun to get weaker as the water kept hitting her and eventually she fainted, after that humiliating defeat Shion decided to try harder at resisting water up until now and so far she can stay underwater for a bit but can only resist Water attacks for a short period of time.

A few weeks later, due to a series of unfortunate events, Shion finds herself separated from Tsume and her brothers, due to a violent and harsh stormy night. While searching for a way to find her brothers and return home Shion comes across a deserted library, filled to the brim with books, thomes, maps and scrolls galore, curious as to why such an empty place would have such items, she snooped around and she happened to stumble across the folklore Alakazam had once told. After hours of reading, Shion had a feeling in her gut and began to think that last nights storm was not natural and that these legendaries were the cause of it, making her mind up Shion decided she'd stand up against the Pokemon and then find her brothers.

Other:

• She never goes anywhere with out her favorite Item, the Razor Claw, which always stays around her neck and she never takes off.

• Shion also prefers walking rather than flying and more often than not she's on the ground walking rather than flying through the skies. But it doesn't mean she won't fly, she just won't fly unless she has to or when she feels like it.

Role-play Sample: "Ow! It stings!"

"I'm sorry Naomi, but if you don't want it infected, then you will do right and hold still!" Prof. Oak told her as he dabbed the last of the anesthetic on her face "It still hurts though" she pouted resisting the urge to scratch her now tingling face the Charmander-from-hell, which Naomi has oh-so rightfully named it was standing a ways off snickering at her behind Oak's back while he went to get Naomi's Pokéball and Pokédex ready for her

"So what Pokémon would you like to start with" he asked casually while the Pokédex loaded the information needed for her journey "Well, I was thinking off a Charmander" she murmured awkwardly glancing at the golden lizard, who glared back at her.

"I see. Charmander might give you alittle trouble at first, but their very loyal Pokémon."

"So how'd you get this Golden Charmander Professor?" Naomi asked trying to start small talk rather than sit in silence while they waited

"I found this little fella one day while I was conducting research. He was fighting of a flock of angered Spearow and managed to tumble his way into me... my head was so sore after all the pecking I endured" Prof. Oak laughed at the memory and Charmander looked away embarrassed when Naomi joined the professor in laughing.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

"Alright Naomi, I've downloaded everything you need for your journey, here are your 5 Pokéballs, your Pokédex, and your Charmander" Naomi took all three items and grinned, placing the Pokéballs and the Pokédex in her pocket before she tapped the button on the Charmander's Pokéball, which popped open and Naomi blinked when she found it empty.

"Umm Professor? Where's the Charmander?

"He's right here" Prof Oak said pointing at the Golden Charmander, who looked just as confused as Naomi "What!? Why?"

"Why not" Oak smiled "He likes you" Naomi spluttered while Charmander smirked evilly before putting on an angelic façade for Prof Oak "Likes me! That thing from hell scratched me!" Prof Oak just shook his head and pushed Naomi and her Charmander out the door "He's just a little shy, you two will be friends in no time. No go and make me proud and catch all the Pokémon you can!" with one final shove Charmander and Naomi were shoved out Oak's Lab.

"Well…. That was unexpected" she grunted glancing at the Charmander who was staring up at her in an annoyed fashion "Hmm I guess I should give you a name huh?" Naomi rubbed her chin thoughtfully for a few moments before snapping her fingers "I got it! From this day on, you will be known as Lalachichi!" Lalachichi looked at Naomi like she was stupid and the girl pouted "Hey, I like that name… it sounds cool, right… Lalachichi?" she bent down to the Charmander's level and grinned in his face "What do you think about it Lalachichi?"

Lalachichi scowled and bawled his hands into a fist, a low growl escaped from his lips "ehh Lalachichi what's wrong?" Lalachichi said nothing and just flexed his claws for a few moments before he brought the claws towards Naomi's face and scratched her.

"Charmander Char Char!"

"YEOUCH!! LALACHICHI GET BACK HERE!!"

"Charmander Chaaar!"

On their way out of Pallet Town, a Golden Charmander could be seen running from its trainer, who was oh-so desperately trying to wring the Pokemon's neck.

Yep, it was the start of a new friendship.
