Oh shoot. Posted this in the wrong forum. Could someone move this to the Pixel Art forum? >_<

Alright, I've found a really easy way to revamp sprites in Paint Shop Pro X. Here we go.

First, start up Paint Shop Pro and gather two sprites and open them. One of the sprites should be the sprite you want to revamp, and the other sprite should be the sprite with the colors you want to use to revamp the sprite with. Your screen should look somewhat like this(I'm revamping a Pkmn Green Cubone using the Diamond/Pearl Cubone colors)

Now, first, you need to have the "Material" Palette open. To open it, go to View>Palettes>Materials or hit F6.

Select the sprite with the colors you want(In my case, the D/P sprite) and look at the Materials bar that opened on the right side of the screen. It should have all the colors
your sprite has. Somewhat like this:

Now, look at your other sprite(in my case, my Pkmn Green sprite). What dreary colors.

We want to move the colored pallet to the boring pallet. To accomplish this, first select your new sprite with all the colors and hit Image>Palette>Save Palette

A screen should pop up. Name the palette something(a good choice is the name of the pokemon that these colors are in) and check "psp palette"(which is probably your default anyways)

Now we have the colored Cubone's colors saved! To replace the Pokemon Green Cubone's palette with the D/P palette, select Green Cubone, and hit Image>Palette>Load Palette

    Now, choose your saved Palette.

Now, look at the Materials Palette on the Pkmn Green Cubone! It has all the colors of the Diamond/Pearl Cubone! Now, just hover over the Materials palette to select the color you wanna use. Happy revamping!

Please post any suggestions in this thread. :D

Uh... the same thing can be easily accomplished in paint, without having to save and open multiple files. I mean, when you're revamping, grabbing the colors off the newer sprite is probably the simplest step.

Also the new sprite doesn't really look right, especially its stomach which seems to be a bit deformed.

I believe that was supposed to be Cubone's leg. It was just turned into the stomach somehow O-o

This can be done in paint? How do you do that? I tried a lot of times, but utterly failed. Meh, I guess there are better ways to do this. That Cubone sprite was definatly not my best revamp... I always hate the fact that I can't figure out which part's the head and which part's the arm... >_< And yeah. I've done much better with this method using other sprites, such as
