An Ode to the Mighty Garchomp

Halt! Ye mighty Garchomp,
What brings you here tonight?

Destiny, dear brethren,
I'am here to test my might!

So you seek old Zekrom,
The one who's quick to fight?

No, dear brethren,
I seek Reshiram the wise!

I see, dear Garchomp,
You seek a battle of wits?

Yes, dear brethren,
I'll go now to the pit.

Little Deino! Little Deino!
Tell Reshiram, Garchomp's arrived.

"Yes, Father Zwelious!"
Little Deino cried.

Part 2

The mighty hero marched,
And dived into the pit.

For the great and strong Reshiram,
Would not be reached by spit!

"O, mighty hero!
What do you seek tonight?"

"To fulfil my destiny,
and to end my plight"

"Well said! Brave hero,
I'll give you what you need."

"I'm honoured, great Reshiram!
I'll fulfill the mighty deed!"

And so the mighty Garchomp,
Set off on a noble quest.

For his life depended on,
This simple test.
