This is quite a short puzzle the pokemon franchise left. The ancient languages that have been revealed so far are Unown writting and... Braille (??????). Some other ancient writting has also been revealed in the anime, which looks like a mix of hieroglyphics with chinese symbols. The Unown and Braille, however, if you can read the symbols, are STILL English. Could the ancient pokepeople speak English too? I know that a little kid wouldn't be able to read a script in a foreign coded language. Why couldn't the designers just make Unown like egyptian hieroglyphics, each Unown representing a different word? And are the Regis blind to need Braille?

Dont forget about pokemon mystery dungeons footprint runes

Unown isn't like Braille because the characters actually take form of a letter in the alphabet, where as Braille needs a key. Unown is readable without a key. Since the Unown is based on the alphabet, this shows that the Unown must have an influence on the development of the English language. So yeah.

the unone was the ancint lingage of pokemons becas it was unnone
    1) your vocabulary is strange
    2) I don't think pokemon would have an ancient language of their own, because they can't read. They can understand human speech, but so far there is no evidence that pokemon can read. As for signposts, letters, maps and money existing in the PMD world, it can just be assumed that after the demise of mankind, the pokemon adopted some traits of the human civilisation.
