Animé Styled "Double Battles"

    As there is already as we know, DoubleBattles, is there a way to make a doube battle, have only one opponent, I.E. When Ash battles Team Rocket and they throw in Koffing and Ekans against Pikachu... Would this be possible to do, I would like to look into this but I'm not familiar with DoubleBattles at all, so if it's possible, I shall have a look, unless someone already knows a way.
