yes i do my drawing with a base its just easier that way i dont have much time to work on them so using a base body just makes it go by faster and yes oak and brock and tracy are obvious choices but ive just got a list of charcters and just choose randomily who im doing next but here are some more people

Nice job but maybe get a new frame for the boys. The top is to rounded. But My fave is Terra and Sissy. Maybe start drawing them free hand withouth bases.

They're nice, although you shouldn't be using paint shapes (i.e Squares) to make designs, as the clothes are rippled and aren't always perfect :D

kohei,PichuSecretBase,Kili and Blue Mage Drake oyu all make good points thats been something ive been meaning to do for a while is to fix my boy template i have also noticed that the boys shoulders are a bit off and i think maybe making the clothes less straight might be agood idea, thanks everyone for their input

ohh and to answer Kili's question i just find pictures of the charcters off the internet for refrence and just just free hand thier faces, oh and about freehanding the bodies, id like to do that but unfortunatly i dont have the time to do that so to make it quick when creating people i just use templates

si do take peoples suggestions as seen below, someone on another website told me i needed to improve my shading so i did a little work to improve shading tell me if the shading looks better the one on the left is the original the one on the right is a modified version

yeah different poses whould be nicer but i dont really have the time to create new poses it already takes up most of my time to create everything else

The problem you are having with the males is that their poses are static and stiff. Your female poses work really well because they are dynamic, at an angle. The Biance pic is spectacular. ^^
