[Scripting Question] Anime Style Gym

Hi,
i solved this in my Game by using PokemonSelection.choose(1, X) before the Battle. X is the max. Number of choosable Pokémon. So 1 in your case.
After the Battle, use PokemonSelection.restore to restore your old Team.
But you have to integrate this Script first:

Worked for Pokémon Essentials 17.2.

But this works only if you only want to make the Player use a certain amount of his Pokémons.
If you want to fight one random Pokémon of a Trainer, i fear you have to define the opposing Trainer multiple times with different Pokémons and made the Player fight a random Variant of this trainer.
You can do this by using the "Control Variables" command, choose a Variable and set the Option "Random".
Afterwards you would have to use a conditional branch where you check the value of the Variable and confront the Player with one Variant of the Trainer.
