Anime Styled Games

    Hi guys im new to this whole anime experience, i've grown in a convervative household, my parents are very religious and think that anime is evil. But now that im 16 they let me visit my friends from time to time, and one of them, has a vast collection of anime. So, i've been going to her house to watch what she calls "The classics"; Dragon ball, evangelion, and Saint Seiya. And I think they are masterpieces, in fact i thought it could not get better than that. But a few days ago when i was at her house i thought she was watching some new anime, but NO!, she was in fact playing a game. Its like an anime, but you get to be part of the story and decide how things turn out.

    For some reason she was reclutant of sharing information about this games with me. I managed to squeeze the name of the game she was playing, its called Princess Waltz, im SO gonna buy it next weekend when i get my allowance =D. I'll leave a vid and some images so you can check it out.

    But the purpose of my thread is: Does anyone know some other anime video game titles?. i don't even know the genre, so forgive my ignorance, its all my parent's fault =(.

    Not sure if PC allows the discussion of eroge (hentai games), but your friend has good taste.
    Princess Waltz has a pretty linear storyline, and unlike normal text progression only eroges, it actually has gameplay in the form of card battles.

    If you are interested in eroges with gameplay, Utawarerumono and Sengoku Rance are both shining gems.

    Oh so the genre is hentai?, whats the meaning of that word, i know it is in the video name. Does it have something to do with anime?.

    And im sorry if all seems surreal my life is not very normal, i've had little contact with people outside the strict christian circle my dad forces me to belong. I just know too little about the world.

    Uhh... hentai is, basically, anime porn. Doesn't sound like your parents would at all approve of that, haha.

    Either you are increadibly sheltered or you're a troll. Assuming this is a serious question, the actual definition of hentai is pervert and it's generally what staight anime based porn is refered to as. That's probably why your friend was reluctant to talk about it.

    Oh so thats what it ment, i had no idea, i've never heard that word before. Lol, im gonna tease Sammy (my friend Samantha) so much next time i visit her ^^.

    Im sure he wouldn't allow me to watch that either. If he read this, he would surely smack me with his belt, like he has done a zillion times before. He reads all my text messages, emails, and checks the pages i visited every day, so i always have to be careful not to leave any trace of pages with things he would not approve.


    It's nice to meet some people with normal lives who doesn't think im a freak.
     
    Hentai is anime porn as said many times, i'll check out this game for you and tell you the so called "Hentai" in it.
