Another question about linking

    I've read through a few threads about this but I'm still clueless. I want to be able to trade a pokemon in the future from Pokemon Crystal so it can reach it's final evolution stage.

    I want to be able to take my save file from VBA to TGB Dual so I can trade it but I have no .sav file... in my VBA folder I have 5 files:

    - Pokemon_Crystal_US1.sgm
    - Pokemon_Crystal_US1.gbc
    - Pokemon_Crystal_US1.sa1
    - vba (configuration settings)
    - And the VBA .exe itself.

    I know the Pokemon_Crystal_US1.gbc is the actual game file but which is the save file? I was thinking it's the .sa1 but if it is what's the .sgm.

    Also could someone please walk me through, describing as easily as possible, how to put the save file in TBG, transfer the pokemon in TBG then put the file back into the VBA?

    Thanks in advance... I'm a bit of a noob at these things.
