It's been along time since the Original Pokemon:TCG was released on Gameboy Color, and I was wondering if anyone ever thought...What if they made another one now for the DS?

There would be alot of changes seeing as..tons of cards of been added, and the graphical upgrade would be much welcomed.

I know some people weren't too fond of the Trading Card Game, but I thought it was great and a decent break from the main games...What are your opinions on a possible 2nd TCG?

It could and probably would, be a great game. Touch screen controls mixed with the traditional rpg on the color?

Plus, cards should come at certain times of playing. At first you can only use the base set, but after a week, the jungle set is unlocked and you can buy/win boosters for them, then fossil, then the origanal gameboy set, ect. ect.

Yeah something like that, maybe after beating certain leagues you could travel to different regions and access different sets.

In the original game I always wished there would've been some sort of "Card Shop" where you could buy booster packs, and even some theme decks (really expensive maybe)..they could also sell some other cool stuff like Different Coins for use, different colored damage counters...and such.

The possibilties are endless for another game...I just doubt they'll make another one anytime soon. :(

I would love that to happen. I LOVED the trading card game for GBC, Maybe they will make a new verson?

    No...

Don't get me wrong, I would love this idea more than the next person (especially with Wi-Fi), but it simply won't happen. For one thing, the fact that the TCG has changed ownership since then ruins the idea of a sequel. Also, it would be way too many cards to put in (I think even more than the Yu-Gi-Oh games get)......There's just been too big of a gap.

    It's sad, though...

I would love a 3rd TCG. There wont be one, because didn't the second one never get translated because of its unpopularity?

Probably, the 2nd TCG was never released in North America...to my knowledge.
