Well I decided to try out another OU team as I have only been playing UU recently. So here it is.
Team at a glance:
A closer look:
Swampert @ leftovers
240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SpA
Relaxed (+defense, -speed) Torrent ability
Surf
Roar
Stealth rock
Earthquake
The mixpert lead has always been the most reliable lead for me in OU. Counters most of the OU commonly used leads in todays metagame. Stealth rocks the first turn, unless i can predict it's a trick/taunt lead, and if so i just attack with earthquake/surf. If the lead trys to setup on the first turn i roar them away.
Zapdos @ leftovers
248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe
Bold (+defense, -attack) Pressure ability
Thunderbolt
Heat Wave
Roost
Hp grass
Here's my defensive wall/bulky water coverage. Zapdos can easily stall with only two weaknesses, and with it's versatile moveset. Thunderbolt for STAB, heat wave/hp grass for coverage, and roost for stalling.
Sceptile @ Life orb
40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 spe
Jolly (+speed, -sp atk) Overgrow Ability
Leaf blade
Dragon claw
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Here's sceptile. 363 speed outruns a lot of different things in OU, and after a swords dance, sceptiles attack goes up to 538, and with 363 speed and 538 atk, he's almost impossible to stop. He always ends up sweeping if he can get a swords dance on a switch out/on a poke with nothing effective against him.
Salamence @ Life orb
80 Atk / 252 spA / 176 spe
Rash (+sp atk, -sp Def) Intimidate Ability
Draco meteor
Flamethrower
Brick Break
Roost
Salamence is extremely useful to my team. Usually something like a blissey/snorlax would try to wall me if they see that I'm using a special sweeper salamence, but that's where brick break comes in. Brick break 2hko's blissey/snorlax without a curse, and draco meteor and flamethrower are there for obvious reasons. Roost is for when my HP is getting low.
Heatran @ Choice Scarf
4 HP / 252 spA / 252 spe
Naive (+speed, -sp Def) Flash Fire Ability
Overheat
Earth power
Hp Ice
Explosion
Scarftran is here mainly for fire coverage. I saw a huge fire weakness, so with flash fire that's completely gone. He also helps me deal with scizor/foretress. Overheat is more reliable then fire blast and really does some damage. Hp ice is for ground types/dragons who switch out. Earth power for coverage, and explosion for when my hp is getting low.
Scizor @ Choice Band
72 HP / 252 Atk / 176 spD / 8 spe
Adamant (+Atk, -spA) Technician ability
Bullet punch
U-turn
Superpower
Pursuit
CB scizor is a huge part of my team. Bullet punch for obvious reasons, u-turn for grass types and for scouting, superpower for coverage, and pursuit for gengar/alakazam/azelf/anything else of that sort that i can predict will switch out. Not much to explain here.
Well, Rate away.
