Story​

We are in the year 2254. The world is a completly different place. Everything is artificial, from the air to the ozone lair to the ice for the animals who live in the north. Global warming is nothing but a thing of the past.
Computer are now the center of society, storing all information, secrets, being a place to learn, to communicate, to have fun with virtual game. But it doesn't come without it's disadvantages. Of course, since security has gotten so much better, ways to get pass it also has. Hackers, viruses, worms and more are always all over the Internet, hunting down innocent people..

At first, this was considered a disaster, hackers could get any information as often as they wanted, with little way of stopping them. But when computer experts and scientists worked together, they were able to find a way to prevent this. They were able to put a human's soul inside the Internet, equipping them with advanced weaponry to fight against the threats of the online world. But the only disadvantage is that if they die while in the Internet, they also die in real life.

Anti Virus Squad 01 was doing very well at first, completing close to a hundred missions without loosing a single member of the team. But one day, while on a typical mission of destroying a virus, the outside world lost contact with them. At first, it was thought to be just a technical problem, but the souls of the Squad never returned to their body. After a week of waiting, they concluded that they were dead. The was no other explanation for the disappearance of several professionnal youngsters.

Now, after loosing the "Anti Virus Squad 01", the government started recruiting people from all over the world, forming "Anti Virus Squad 02" to take care of any thread or event that could happen. The people must pass intense physical tests, as well as some basic intelligence tests. It's a full-time job that doesn't come without risks. After over a hundred hours of training, the new squad is now ready for their first mission.

Important Terms

These are terms that you learn in your hard hours of training, so know them.

Worm: The most common thing you'll see in your missions. These are usually in groups of one to five. Some are week, some are powerful, but most of the time, the squad can defeat them without any injured.

Virus: I less common, but more powerful enemy. These infect programs, sites or forums and are able to multiply over time. The only way to defeat them is to destroy them at the source of the program it infected.

Bacterium: A virus designed to attach itself to programs, sites and even users. If attached to a user, the user's abilities have a huge boost.

Site: A domain in the Internet. It usually looks like a town.

Forum: It's just a plain area surrounded by a wall with users inside. Some have many users, some have few.

Hackers: People who, usually from the comfort of their home, insert threats onto the Internet for the fun of it. There is little way to track them.

My Template​

Name: Cynthia Shelley

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Nationality: Canada

Personality: Cynthia is a very active and energetic person. After a hard work out, she'll probably ask for more. After a good fight, she'll never be lying on the ground, recuperating, she's always up and going and she actually asks herself where she gets her energy.

Cynthia hates people who are always down for no reason. She's always encouraging people who need it and is never mean with people.
She is usually more of a person of actions, not a person of words.

Bio: A young, active girl who, before joining the squad, had never even touched a computer, let alone went on the Internet. She was generally against them and was more into action, sports, extreme sports and that stuff. But when she read the description of the Anti Virus Squad, she immediately went to audition, wanting some action and adventure. She thought this could be a chance to do something she loves and help out the world at the same time.
After hard tests, she was one of the few who was admitted, and she was happy. Now, she can't wait for her first mission, knowing she'll love the experience. Cynthia isn't even the least scared about that could happen.

While in her internet form, Cynthia keeps her hair style, but she has glasses in front of her eyes. The glasses are similar to these. For the body, she has a pink and white technologic body plate, serving as an armor, covering the top of her body, down to the belly button. The left sleeve is long, while the right one is short. For her lower body, she has the same type of armor as the upper body, except that the left leg's part of the armor doesn't go down to the ankles, but to the knee instead.
Around her waist, Cynthia has a case for each of her swords.

Weapon(s) of choice: Two lazer short swords.

Name: Kiseki Smith

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Nationality: U.S.

Personality: Kiseki is generally a nice person, though he does tend to act rather cold, especially towards those he hasn't known very long. Plus, he doesn't get angry fast, though when he does get mad, he tends to go wild.

Bio: Kiseki was, and in truth still is, an infamous hacker known by the alias Miracle. As such, he
knows his way around the net, as well as all the tricks that hackers use. He has never been much of
a physical person, and so he really did not expect to be admitted.

Appearance (Real world): Kiseki is very pale, an obvious sign of much time sent inside. He is slim, but not unhealthily so. He has medium-length, unkempt black hair. As he prefers to stay out of the spotlight, he typically wears clothing that allows him to blend in, no matter how that is. Usually, he wears a black T-shirt and blue jeans. He usually has a cold expression on his face, which almost always hides his true feelings.

Appearance (In Internet): Kiseki, in his internet form, looks several years younger and he wears a white long-sleeve shirt and white shorts. He has a black gauntlet on his right arm, and black armor on his lower legs, which are otherwise bare. His hair hangs down to his waist and is white. He keeps his bow (which is also black) strapped onto his back.

So he's a hacker, which means he's an enemy?

No, actually. The government doesn't know he's a hacker, and neither does anyone else.

But still, he'll be an enemy if he's a hacker.

And I'm sorry, but I can't accept that. First, even if he was a hacker, he can't know his way around the net since the only way to get in the net is the way we are doing.

Second, there is a big background check done on each worthy candidate.

First, I thought of the background check already. And not even that could catch a criminal if he was good enough. The government is not perfect, and neither are their checks.

Secondly, I meant he knows his way around in the sense that you would use the phrase in the real world.

Also, he would not nessecarily be an enemy if he were a hacker. Saying that is supposing that all people who identify as such are evil, when it is in fact not so.

Name: Adam Kuntz

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Nationality: American

Personality: Adam prefers to do things at his own tempo and it is reflected through his lazy hand to hand fighting style. He gets along with most anyone and rarely lets things bother him. He is a very well calculated person as well, always trying to think before acting.

Bio: Adam loves to play online games and interact with people through them. He heard about the squad and immediately jumped at the opportunity to protect what he could, to preserve what he loves.

Appearance (Real world): Adam is about 5'7 and 120 lbs, quite skinny. He has medium length dark green hair that spikes downward with blue bright eyes that more often than not reflect his good mood. He wears a long sleeved black shirt with dark blue jeans and black and white tennis shoes.

Appearance (In Internet): He has the same basic physical make up but his hair and eyes both turn silver. He wears 2 black gloves and a tight fitting black tank top which doubles as a light armor so he can stay mobile. He wears tightly fitted black pants which partially cover black and blue sneakers, all covered by a long gray sleeveless trench coat.

Weapon of choice: Hand to hand combat. The gloves and sneakers release energy with every blow. sensors in the gloves and shoes connect to the brain which controls how much energy is released on each hit. They can expel a massive amount of energy at once but not without the penalty of a MASSIVE cool down and recharge time.
