I don't know about the first one, but the second one, Brawly the Gym Leader is saying to Mack; "You? Tate and Liza did it?!". I know that because I just asked Marillmonster2000 about it. Remember, Japanese comics read from the right, so the big water explossion thing happened after Mack and Brawly's confrention.

As for the Pika one, I doubt they tell you anything. Just something stupid like they always say on that website, like; "Pika's dead?! FIND OUT BY BUYING THE NEXT VOLUME!!!", or something stupid like that. Pika won't die, either. It's practially the primary Pokemon. Its not going to die, so don't worry. ^^
