6th Gen anyone for more than one starter?

why most people if not all, locked on the option to play with only one starter?
i don't mean that in the new game we get, in addition to the six gen starters, first gen and torchic, but the possibility to trade with a friend for all six starters available to choose.

this was mainly what i used to do when the original gold and silver (never progressed farther on console terms) came out (was like 11/12 yo back then, and so fixed on the 3 that never were available to capture - plus i really liked them all).

i know this ain't an original way to go (^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^), but i see many thread asking which ONE pokemon you will choose, and wonder if there are people like me who plan to get all six (seven with torchic) and then decide how many or which one they want.

I plan to use Torchic, Fennekin, and at the moment Charmander. I will try to get the other four though, and even later transfer the rest of the starters from the other generations :3

We already have two separate starter threads to discuss the Kalos starters and the Kanto starters. But if we're to discuss our team as a whole, even if it's a team of all starters, then please feel free to discuss it in the thread, "Your Pokémon X and Y Team So Far."
