Anyone know of an easy to use ROM hack tool? I'd like it to run on Mac but I'll use Wine if necessary.

I am very interested in Pokemon ROM hacks and coding as a whole, but I don't have the time to learn a full coding language just to make a funny fan game. Does anyone know of intuitive, easy - to use ROM editors that don't require any prior coding knowledge?

I'd like it to have the ability to all the game assets, because I want to completely rebuild the map (and also the Pokemon, and the dialogue, and the trainers, and pretty much everything else.)

Your best bet is probably the RPG Maker route if you want to avoid all things coding. There is a full pokemon asset suite and battle engine mod that people use to make pokemon-like games. Here is an example
