I'm no fan of stalling, but there's just too many tanky attackers that nearly convince me.
The ever so lovely duo of near indistinguishable slug friends are here! Had lots of fun drawing on this one..
(I stand by the fact that gradient maps will forever be the superior editing tool)

I'd like to draw more of our tanky friends again soon!

Another very tanky pokemon is the popular Lugia! Lugia is by no means a perfect Pokemon, but it is reputable for appearing in Pokemon 2000 and the sort.
People majority lean towards Lugia as their favorite, as with a whopping 154 SpDef and solid 106 HP stat, it takes hits far better than the fiery Ho-Oh could even dream to tank!
That being said, I still love Ho-Oh more (don't kill me!).

This is the second tanky Pokemon I've drawn recently to add to the thread. Drawing more in the future!

Hello again! I'm here for another tanky pokemon, albeit perhaps a biased pick. Orthworm is a very special pokemon, some say, having a unique immunity to ground type moves via Earth Eater, and it being the only other pokemon apart from Cyclizar to learn the incredibly overpowered move Shed Tail. It has a defence stat of 145, not being particularly high, but stands among the middling defence stats of any steel-type pokemon. It's not terrible, but not great to use, either, casual or competitive.

I still love its dopey smile, though, and that sets it apart from any pokemon out there (except ditto, ditto is incredibly dopey).

This is my third tanky Pokemon I've drawn. Making more for the future! Happy holidays!
