AR for Mew

On my Pokemon Emerald, if I used AR to get to Faraway Island, and caught Mew. Would he be counted as "legit" and would I be able to transfer him from Emerald to SoulSiver?

Yes, it is legal.
Altough the way you got it wasn't legal, what counts is that you catched it legally. (Right place, right level etc.)

It's perfectly legit in my book. I have done it on my game with no consequences.

This isn't really the place to ask for AR stuff, or whether or not that would a Pokemon legit. Please use the simple Q&A thread next time (in Emerald's case, the one in the adv gen forum).
