Are metal type decks gonna rise with PHF?

Think of this: we will get

• Dialga EX (who can hit for 170 w/ muscle band, or "paralyze" another EX)
• Bronzong who massively speeds up the deck
• Aegislash EX would nearly be immune to everthing with special energy (lucario EX,mewtwo,pyroar)
• Cobalion EX can kill dem pyroars
• and we haven't even got the full story on Metagross EX.

+Steel shelter prevents all special conditions to metal type pokemon.

Yes, yes it is :) after this next set I can finally run straight full steel. Don't forget about Klinklang from plasma that makes all steel immune to ex! Finally my steel are back and up to par :)

Also Dialga ex is poop tho dude. That last attack is utterly god awful. Waste of energies. If you want a lockout your ex you have Klinklang plasama as I stayed before you need Cobalion from legendary treasures 2 energies to do as much damage as the energy the defending pokemon has +20 and it's second attack it locks your opponents poke from attacking +80 damage. I love metal more then anyone and I know very single legal metal card ;)

I agree Cobalion's second attack is going to be very dangerous with this new steel acceleration, but you don't understand why dialga EX is so good.
150 + muscle band one hit KO's most EX's including mewtwo, and it can get its energy back next turn using bronzing. Not to mention its resistant to psychic. Bronzong would be necessary to use it though.

It would be utterly necessary. Honestly the new bronzong is necessary if you want a good metal deck to run well. I plan on using it to buff up Aegeslash basic and use keldeos rush in with a float stone for free retreat. But like I said situational. Lol
Unless in the new set they make a better steel stage 2. Honestly I might just scrap it for just Klinklang as my ownly stage 2
