Are these good?

I'm sorry in advance for the confusion this may cause.
I am not new to Pokemon cards, not at all.
I got my first Pokemon card deck of 7 back when I was in Kindergarten!
I am just really new to all the names... Like "Pearl Version" and all of those.
I don't know how to tell the difference from the cards I have.
So do you think you can help me?

I have more older version cards than I do newer ones.
My best ones are:
Charizard(holo), Blastois(holo), Venusaur(holo), Nidoqueen(holo), Gyrados(holo), Vileplume(holo), Kadabra, Ninetales(holo), Arcanine, Dark Jolteon(holo), Zapdos(holo), Dark Slowbrow, Kangaskhan(holo), Machamp(holo)
And those are just the cards you would have found in the older version of cards, that might actually be worth something.

Then I have some other ones from the "Fire ex Leaf":
Ivysaur(holo), Charmeleon, Victreebel(holo), Beedrill(holo), Arcanine(holo), Exeggutor(holo) Camerupt

Then going through jsut random booster decks, I've convenscated:
Pidgeote(holo), Pidgeotto(holo), Pidgy(holo), Golem(holo), Gangar(holo), Haunter(holo), Fearow+Spearow(both holo), Dark vaporeon, Team Aqua's Sharpedo(holo), Dark Raticate, Dark Ariados, Dark Sneasel, Dark Murkrow, Dark Magcargo, Muk(holo), Kyogre, Dark Quilava, Lantern, Raichu, Lt. Surge's Pikatchu, Light Dewgong, Cloyster(holo), Tailow, Swablu(holo)

Thats not my whole deck, I have tons more.
Those are just the ones that are really good.
but I just don't understand how to classify them.
Are they any good?
I have a total of 37 holo cards.
And I have a Golem card that is all holo; like the whole card is shiny.

This might be a bit of a hand full... But I am just a bit confused, and want to know if this is an alright deck.

Yes, some holographic cards are pretty good, in battle, and for collecting. I collect all my Pokemon cards :)
But one thing, are they fakes?

Hi there, please note that not all holographic cards are good. And not all good cards are holographic. Its a big misconception.

Many of those cards youve mentioned are Reverse or Alternate Holos. As an extra way to cash in, the makers include a alternative holo version of a standard card in every booster.

Also playing well never relies on using single cards. If you only have one good card, it will rarely make a great playing difference.

Also you havent posted a deck. A deck has 60 cards made of trainers, pokemon and energy :)

jwilso72, I know all cards are holographic, and I know not all holographic cards are good. I have other holographic cards, but I didn't post them because they aren't part of my battling hand.

I have had people ask me to trade my holo seel, Pidgy, Spearow, and Ratatta. They jsut aren't really special in battle! :P

Quick question...what do you think a Pokémon card deck consists of? Say what that term means to you, because I'm not sure if you've got it right. A Pokémon card deck has 60 cards, and is composed of Pokémon cards, Trainer cards and Energy cards.

If you know this but recognise that you're not asking about a deck, then this is in the wrong place and you'll need to get a moderator (King Shuckle's the resident moderator here) to move it to the appropriate place.

Again, not a deck. You've just posted all the cards you have. You really need to go to the Pokémon TCG website (go-pokemon.com) and find out how to make a deck.

Oh, and get a moderator in this section to move this, because it just isn't a deck.
