History
Singapore is a small nation and once ruled by the British, founded by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1819. It gained independence at 1965 after sepearation from Malaysia. Under the leadership of Singapore's first Prime Minister, Singapore have developed into a successful nation!

Multi-Ethnic Societies
Singapore is a multi-ethnic societies that consists of four major races - Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian, living in harmony together. Official language: English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil. Because of this multi-ethnic thing, it has vast varieties of food and interesting cultures and tourists are attracted here!

Youth Olympic Games
Singapore is the host of the first Youth Olympic Games (YOG). It is such a surprise that a small country can host a important events for the whole country. It started when Singapore won the host of YOG when short-listed to Singapore and Mexico City. Lyo and Merly are the two mascots that are present in the Youth Olympic games. Cheers for Singapore!
