    do you have to have the teddiursa to play the ursaring card since it evolves from it?

    Oh wait, i just saw what this was, I misinterpreted it.

    Yes, well mostly. I believe there are some cards that allow you to bypass this, but you generally do require a tediursa.

    @RyuKun: Not helping. >>;

    It's been a long time since I've played the TCG, but I believe that every card that evolves from another Pokémon will feature in the top left-hand corner of the card a small picture of the pre-evolved form, along with the text "Evolves from x", wherein x is the name of the card upon which the card you're looking at has to be placed on in order for it to be played. The Ursaring card should have a picture of Teddiursa along with the text "Evolves from Teddiursa", as the only Ursaring card not to have this requirement was never released outside of Japan.

    I hope I've been able to help.

    Yes, you do. You a basic card to play a Stage 1 card.

    The basic answer is yes, you do need the Tediursa card to be able to play Ursarang.

    Usurang can be played on the second and subsequent turns that Tediursa has been placed on the bench.
