    Atlantic Hurricane
    Fear the East Coast

    Overview

    This is my first competitive lineup. So any and all suggestions will be appreciated. While I might not use all suggestions because I'd like to keep it as close to what I came up with as possible, I will consider them all highly as like I said, this is my first lineup and you guys have been at this longer. Basically I'll be using Zapdos to set up the Rain and scout, then hit the opposition hard with my sweepers. I have a couple of support pokemon to handle some threats that may arise. Thanks in advance.

    Lead
    :: Zapdos ::

    -Rain Dance
    -Thunder
    -Roost
    -U-Turn
    Item: Damp Rock
    Ability: Pressure
    Nature: Modest (+Satk, -Atk)
    Effort Values: 6 Hp / 252 Satk / 252 Spd
    With Rain Dance up, Zapdos can destroy with a STAB Thunder and 30% paralysis. U-Turn is used to scout for counters and give sweepers a safer switch in.

    Sweepers
    :: Kingdra ::
    -Rain Dance
    -Waterfall
    -Hydro Pump
    -Draco Meteor
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Swift Swim
    Nature: Naughty (+Atk, -Sdef) / Lonely (+Atk, -Def)
    Effort Values: 252 Atk / 240 Satk / 18 Spd
    Waterfall is the primary STAB. Hydro Pump is for those stronger defenses expecting a physical attack. Draco Meteor is for grass and opposing water Pokemon.

    :: Floatzel ::
    -Waterfall
    -Return
    -Ice Punch
    -Rain Dance
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Swift Swim
    Nature: Adamant (+Atk, - Satk)
    Effort Values: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 16 Spd
    Waterfall will be the main attack. Ice Punch for grass and dragon types. Return for anything else that might otherwise resist and for better coverage.

    :: Azumarill ::
    -Waterfall
    -Superpower
    -Aqua Jet
    -Double Edge
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Huge Power
    Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -Satk)
    Effort Values: 212 Hp / 252 Atk / 44 Spd
    With Huge Power, Azumarill will basically be a physical wrecking ball. A nice array of moves to cover a wide base of pokemon. Aqua Jet + Rain Dance with Huge Power= a great quick move to pick off weakened opponents. Leftovers to help it last longer.

    Support
    :: Dugtrio ::
    -Earthquake
    -Rock Slide
    -Sucker Punch
    -Aerial Ace
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Arena Trap
    Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -Satk)
    Effort Values: 40 Hp / 252 Atk / 216 Spd
    Dugtrio is here to help and trap two hinderances that may arise, Tyranitar and Blissey. Rock Slide used for flinching. Sucker Punch to catch Alakazam, Gengar and Azelf. Aerial Ace is for Heracross Breloom.

    :: Scizor ::
    -Bullet Punch
    -Pursuit
    -Roost
    -U-Turn
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Technician
    Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -Satk)
    Effort Values: 176 Hp / 100 Atk / 176 Sdef / 56 Spd
    His only weakness is lessened in the rain. Able to use U Turn to help scout and his Bullet Punch will easily help finish off a team.

    You shouldn't have Rain Dance on a Sweeper. Put Dragon Dance or Return over it on Kingdra.

    Floatzel would like Swords Dance or Aqua Jet (i cant remember if it can even learn SD lol)

    Duggy wants a Choice Band, Scizor wants Superpower or Brick Break>> Pursuit, or over Roost and make it a CB.

    I don't like how frail this team is. I would put a Secondary Rain Dance user over Azumarill. Pory2 comes to mind. Discharge/Ice Beam/ Recover/ Rain Dance with Damp Rock, 252 HP/ 216 Def/ 40 Spa. Support Jirachi can also work.

    You also have several things to revenge kill with. Since Duggy really only helps with Tran IMO, I would drop him for something like a Starmie, because you don't have much on the special side of offense. Starmie also has Natural Cure, which helps a little with your status problems.

    Trio wants CB badly. CBAdament with LO fails to 2HKO blissey, and ends with a dreaded stall war. Most Trios can take 1 Ice beam and return fire. So that 2HKO is necessary as that is a formidable think against you.

    I would go with Bulk Up over Rain Dance for floatzel. It gives you a bit more bang with your buck and makes you a bit more strong.

    Kingdra wants Ice Beam > Hydro Pump, due to better coverage, and vital Super Effective vs a lot of its common foes.

    You are VERY VERY physical, and waterfall sure it does a lot of help towards those walls. but I see...

    Vaporeon giving you one hell of trouble. Most sets these days pack HP electric.

    as soon as kingdra comes in, empoleon will give your team probs. along w/ Petaya and Torrent, sub variants will quickly kill off dugtrio and do hard damage to everyone in your team regardless of water resist because of the added rain boost. i highly suggest someone who can generally absorb surf.

    floatzel adds no value to your team, honestly. it ceases to prevent from getting intimidated and having gyarados embarrass your team. either you consider giving floatzel a subpass set or you drop floatzel for something like Hp Electric Vaporeon or Jolly Water Absorb Poliwrath w/ Sub/BellyDrum/(Waterfall vs Brick Break)/(Rock Slide vs Return) @ Salac Berry. if empoleon has grass knot, vaporeon is definitely the better choice to handle it but Poliwrath can really let on a sweep.
