hmmm...personally i like Atlus's character design a lot better than Square Enix
As far as games...that's a bit of a split. Also, i'm gonna go by strictly DS since that's the only system i've bought games for from either of them and probably by the games i bought from them too. ok, to be honest, i've only bought 3 from atlus, and 2 from square XD [Yggdra Union, both Etrian Odysseys, and both FFTAs
Square Enix seems to have a generally static formula (by that i mean a majority of their titles for DS are all franchises), but a good formula at that. I really don't mind playing any of their games at all. Oh, and their graphics are pretty XD
Atlus...i dunno, their games are..unique to say the the most part. I don't think there are any other other dungeon explorer games outside Etrain Odyssey, nor have i seen a strategy game work the same way as it does for Yggdra Union. And i like their character designs.
Dunno, i tend to juggle the two companies around. i get bored of Etrian, i switch to FFTA, get bored, switch back, etc.
Oh, and to those guys that are wondering why i don't have any games from the other systems, it's cuz i've had nothing but a N64 for the last 5-6 years and the money/parental issue
