    ok so i have a canadian ds and if i buy emerald off of ebay that is from bankok or australia etc.. would it still work here and will i be able to trade with my friend who bought his emerald in canada?

    please and thank you

    ps. what does format ntsc mean??

    Well, wouldn't just be easier to buy it from canada?

    Also don't buy from Hong Kong on ebay, your basically asking for poor quality goods at a high price.

    Yes, GBA game are not region restricted, just as the DS. So you can get a game from another country, and play it on your DS.

    I wouldn't really reccomend you buying games from sellers located in Bankok, as the chance of getting a fake version are really high there.
