[Bolanboy]

This is just some stuff I wrote when I had an idea and you get that feeling to write, just for no inexplicable reason. They're hardly perfect, some aren't even good or can be classified as poems, but most of the poet sites blow me so I'm posting here. I also know that poems are hardly criticised, talked about, or discussed, so. :<

Worlds Apart

Spoiler:

When worlds apart, when worlds collide
The sky will sever it's dull ties
Through destruction sought, and destruction created
a creation so beautiful it's sought to be hated
Child to family tethered apart
A rope so long it doesn't start
Tug the truth that you know exists
Pull me closer, let me kiss
In pale shores or orange sands
Open up, this is our land

The Undiscovered

Spoiler:

Darkness bathe the soul's sea,
A light so glum, difficult to be
Hang your words behind the mast
And set sail for the undiscovered
Waves abound as we take our course
The thunder of rain, skin so rough
A sea of tears, we sail through
Cry no more the clouds depart

Land upon land so virtue
We have sought forevermore
One step into bountiful happiness
One step left is all that's thought
But never ends as the twists and turns
The road goes on for weary legs
A chance to rest and lose your sight
Worry not for we are blessed

Just a Thought

In my head do you live,
Waning through the clouds of thought,
Do you stand as but a sliver
Temptation has this image wrought
But through mountains and seas
And rivers and trees
Through shine and sleet
And through cold and heat
Do we run and play and move our feet
Because a world have I made for us to play

But as I stand here now before the mirror
Do I see your reflection, it becomes crystal clear
As I see you behind this broken mirror
Everything thought has made you be
I understand as I see you now
Do I understand we will never be
As I stand behind this broken mirror
Knowing you will never see

One Breath

Spoiler:

There is no cold, only Spring
Take me away from Winter's sting
The depth of darkness, reaches closer
A light that shines forever broken
A haze of illusuion, blinding me
Sight has gone, forsaken me
Grab my touch, lead me through
All the broken dreams come true
Let me fix what I have built
Buildings torn, flowers wilt
Just one breath, bring back life
To the starving sacrifice

Tears That Fall

The look in your eye, the tears that fall
Tears for me and the love that we call
It's our love, you can't dream
No nightmares, a heart that beats
Feelings are strings, we pull them to our tune
My tune is calling, you pulled them too soon
I danced to your beat, but not because you said
I moved my feet to the love that I bled
I danced for you, because I can
The look in your eye, the tears that fall
I catch them for you, I gotta catch 'em all

Clouds

Spoiler:

Take my breath and let me fly
To the mountains in the sky
A kingdom left untouched by time
A sound, none, but a chime
The bells ring as we climb
King and Queen of our land

This final one, I was telling my friend that I could write a poem about aaaaaaaaaaaanything. So she told me to do one about a beach. VOILA.

I stretch far apart but I am always seen
You pick and pull and build me tall
Castles are built and a fortresses' wall
Tear them down when the time has come
King of your world if just for a day
The fun is over I am put away
Take me with you and cleanse me off
Worry not for have I plenty to give

I am sat on and walked upon,
Layed on and talked by none
You sit and you eat and you run and you play
Waves course closer, you make me your clay
Mould me into what you seem to enjoy
End of the day I am nought but a ploy
I stretch far apart but I am always seen
Each granule I give I give you me
You take me with you and we'll always be

This final one, I was telling my friend that I could write a poem about aaaaaaaaaaaanything. So she told me to do one about a beach. VOILA.

I can't bother myself to read every poem in your post, so I'm only going to review this last one since it was very lovely.

Most poems that I have read about beaches are very vague. It wasn't that all exciting. This one, however, is a gem amongst the granite. There were a bit of misspellings but I think that it was meant to be that way. Right?

Anyways, I like the flow of this poem. It makes me relax and want to go out there and build sand castle at the nearby beach (which is like, a five hour trip so ;;).
