Okay, here's some of the art that I've come up with. To not slow down/freeze computers, I'm just gonna post links to them.

First we have Ash which is an attempt to bring him out of the anime style and into a more "real" approach:

We have a similar thing going on with Brock here:

And a very fuzzy/friendly Pikachu whom I posted in a separate (now dead) thread before:

Misty looks too masculine. Brock and Ash's faces don't really look like that. All of the drawings are somewhat mishapen. The knees bend out too far, for one thing. Also, Brock's arms are too thick while Misty's are too thin. The Koffing is definitely interesting, but it looks more like a fish than anything else.

Now I'll have to agree with Molibe Tsk. However, here are some tips on how to improve with your humans. Try looking at anatomy books, and try practicing by taking poses from books.

However, I am not saying to copy the pose and post it for all to see, because then that qualifies as stealing. Once you gain confidence in your anatomy, draw a original drawing from scratch and come show it to us. : )

Oh and also? Don't revive your own thread by double posting. If your thread died, then do not revive it. It's kind of annoying to see that. /:

Yeah, practice anatomy and use shape guidlines! I think Koffing's the best one of these. You should probably practice drawing simpler creatures like him first, and then move on to humans.

It may not be against the rules but it's mighty annoying. Take a hint, when people don't reply to your art thread it may be because nobody had interest. ( :

The realistic approaches on charmander/squirtle and bulbasaur look really good and imaginatve, so great job with those :P
