    In R/S I made a partly UU water team for fun battles at school. I caught an Marril and then leveled it up and then maxed out its stats. But I need some help making a good moveset for it, I have limited options until I get Action Replay and get more TM's. Its moveset it totally UU right now =(... What should I give it once I get some TM's.

    Huge Power Ability
    Atk 173
    Def 185
    Spd 122
    Sp.Atk 150
    Sp.Def 178
    Rollout
    HP Fight
    Double Edge
    Hydro Pump
     
    not sure if Azumarill will really benefit from choice band. I'll rather choose leftovers. As for the 3 attacks, I suppose that they'll work, but can Azumarill learn brick break naturally? If you can, then you can free up the HP to get some other physical attacks.

    Chesto rest is quite nice too with that much hp and defensive power.

    I usually use Azumarill as my water HM slave (Surf, Dive, Waterfall).

    Azumarill@Liechi Berry
    EV: 252 Att, 252 HP, 6 Def
    Nature: + Att, - Sp Att/Speed
    Substitute
    Belly Drum
    HP Physical/Rest
    Double Edge

    Not like Azumarill will last long anyway, let's be completely suicidal
     
    Yeah, I can say Pure Power, but then, with only 50 base Attack to use, Azumarill is a bit useless even with the double power.
     
    As far as i know it gets the highest unboosted attack besides slaking, Deoxys FR and medichamp....................and thats pretty sweet IMO

    If i am wrong then please correct me.

    but with max att stat + nature + some EVs should make it very useable

    Base 50 + pure power + no nature bonus < adamant metagross

    True... but by how much?

    Only by 7... 199 * 2 compare to Metagross's max strength of 405 isn't that much different... The only reason why Azumarill isn't used much is the poor movepool, the inability to use agility like Metagross to sweep, and/or Snorlax's tanking ability. Azumarill is a GREAT physical sweeper in UU teams with the ability to survive one thunderbolt from any other UU (provided: no STAB... Magneton > Azumarill ;_; ).

    + Azumarill has a way cuter face than meta.
    however i would have to say that snorlax gives him competition
