Hello again! Recently ive been messing around with repairing GB, GBC, and GBA games. At first just to see if I could and now as a hobby and to keep some of these great games alive. Ive repaired 2 Red Versions, 1 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, and 1 Other GBA game.

The Sapphire and Emerald versions both took quite a bit of time to get to work and now work correctly BUT even with a NEW battery it still tells me the battery is dry. Ive checked to see if the polarities were correct, re soldered the tabs, tried different batteries. Nothing works. Does anyone know what might cause this issue? Does anyone know which parts are interchangeable from game to game?

I was planning on keeping the emerald version but id rather have one that is 100% functional like my other versions. They are all authentic Nintendo games and not fakes, i know how to tell which are fake.
