    well i was loooking for sprites and i got a bunch of sprites from ruby and sapphire and theres a sprite of max either that or a youngster but i had never seen it in the game so i was wondering do you battle max in the game sorry if this belongs in rumors feel free to move it.
     
    yeah it looks like max but im pretty sure he is a youngster
     
    Looks fake to me. Or recolored poorly.
     
    that is not Max...it is an in-game trainer called Schoolboy I believe...there arent' very many in the game save for a few north of Rustboro (near Rusturf Tunnel) and in the trick house
