why does this game not allow me to use my shiny or even legendary pokemon online, even though i play people with full teams of shiny, legendary and even shiny legendary pokemon?
i feel ripped off

It does allow you, you just have to choose the right rules, I think. I've had BR myself, and my team (Ho-oh, Lugia, Celebi, Shaymin, Suicune & Mew) works perfectly fine anywhere.

it works for me. I've seen people with hacked pokemon before must have AR for the Wii

PBR blocks anything without a legitimate hidden ID number (if it's a string of zeros like AR makes it, PBR's like "lol bull") or impossible moves.

If you have hack pokemon then they must not be allowed, or just look at the rules and fix them maybe. I don't have a problem with my shiny or legendary pokemon.

Then explain how my Starly with Explosion got online.

As for the problem, aren't some Pokemon banned from online play, like some that fit in the Uber catergory e.g. Wobbufett? So if it's a Shiny Wobbufett that might explain it. Otherwise it is too obviously hacked.
