I'm not sure if Battle Tower/Frontier teams go in the "In-Game" forum or in the main S&M forum. Move this thread if necessary.

This is the team I use in the Battle Tower in my Diamond game. Just wanted to get a rate on it and possible suggestions.

    Garchomp @Muscle Band
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
    -Swords Dance
    -Dragon Claw
    -Earthquake
    -Crunch

Garchomp works well as my lead and a general physical sweeper. It's typing resists a lot of things and I can usually get off at least one Swords Dance, and two SD 80-85 percent of the time. Dragon Claw and Earthquake are its most powerful STAB attacks, and Crunch added for type coverage againsts Ghosts and Psychics. The Muscle Band only gives a 10% boost to Physical attacks, but it was the only real thing I could think of for my held item.

    Starmie @Life Orb
    Nature: Modest
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 Sp.Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
    -Surf
    -Thunderbolt
    -Ice Beam
    -Recover

My special sweeper, Starmie with Life Orb scores a lot of OHKOs even after taking a hit during the switch-in. Surf for STAB, and the Bolt-Beam combo for awesome type coverage. Recover allows Starmie to survive longer and heal Life Orb recoil damage.

    Infernape @Expert Belt
    Nature: Naive
    EVs: 102 Akt / 154 Sp.Atk / 252 Spe
    -Flamethrower
    -Brick Break
    -Grass Knot
    -Rock Slide

Due to the Nature and EV spread on this thing, my Atk and Sp.Atk stats have only a 2-point difference. It's a bit frail, but can do a lot of things even after taking a hit during a switch-in. Flamethrower and Brick Break are my STAB attacks, and Grass Knot for coverage againsts Water, Ground, and Rock. Rock Slide deals healthy damage against Flying types as well. Because of the type coverage on this moveset, the Expert Belt was the item of choice.

That's about it. Comments and suggestions are welcome. As a final note, the Battle Tower in Diamond is about as competitive as I've gotten thus far in my Pokemon gaming experience. So don't be too harsh if I get things like the EV spreads wrong. I used Smogon as my source for this team.
