    Again, time to take in comments and opinions to ask for a feedback regarding the progress of the battledex... it shall be updated daily again now that christmas holiday kicks in for 2 weeks XD;

    This time, with a much bigger set of audience who play netbattle, is there anything that should be added? For example, focus more on telling the user when to switch in or switch out, and etc? Or perhaps new sections that should be added and so on...?

    Feedback and opinions please, flames welcomed as long as they are supported by evidences and common sense.

    eh, you do have a bigger nb audience... I think its fine as is, but NB forums had something like this where people submitted pokemon and the profile type thing and they had like three head people to judge the entries and see if they were good enough. And then they had like a sub forum filled with different pokemon that people wanted to submit and it filled up quite fast. I think its a great idea.

    I think the most important part of the dex is to show the sample move-sets. They should have Evs, since someone who is competetively battling will want to have EV spreads, especially on iffy monsters with difficult spreads.

    I think that there should just be another stickied thread with only sample movesets in them -- kind of like the BattleDex, but only with move-sets instead of the overall monster descriptions. I like reading those. I can figure out how they work by myself -- obviously. Primarily, I like to see the EV spreads on some iffy monsters, because they usually can only be determined to be good through use. I think Shuckle's idea should be considered.

    I agree with HellishHades about the idea of a sample moveset thread, the battledex is great now i dont think that its necessary to add something

    Maybe you could put in worthwhile movesets that have been submitted and tested thoroughly for pokemon aswell.

    If you guys agree on making a sample moveset thread i could start working one out starting with Venusaur until Mew...

    It's better to do the move-sets for the same monsters at the same time, since there may be repeats of move-sets and/or movesets that one person didn't think of.

    problems with everyone contributing at once is...

    a) disagreements between movesets/comments
    b) "ingame Pokemon masters" giving us flamethrower/ember/flamewheel/swift for Thyplosion
    c) Toothy works extra hard to try to stop a+b

    No, we were going to give totally random movesets that we HOPE will work out :dead:

    Anyways, Shuckle's idea gets my approval. Of course, I could do what Strider did at TVsIan and open a Team Workshop where people leave their team in my thread and I go in, and reply to that thread with a team fix. But that'd be up to Toothy to allow me to do that.

    isn't that the point of the strategy forum as a whole? o.o;
