4th Gen Beautifly broken?

My Beautifly only seems to know harden at level 12, but from the reading I've been doing he should have learned Absorb at level 10. Is this possibly a glitch? or maybe he evolved after level 10? I used the Experience Share item to level him. Thanks for any help with this.

It learns it the moment it evolves, at level 10. If you evolved it after that, it won't learn it.

you'll have to go to the move tutor if you want him/her to learn it then.

Well, did you catch it as a Wurmple and evolve it? If you did, it should know it. Unless you pressed B when it was trying to evolve to Beautifly. Then it wouldn't know Absorb right now. If you did that, then you can either:

A) Go to the move tutor (located in Pastoria City) and have him teach Beautifly the move you'd like it to learn

or

B) Catch a new Wurmple and do it all over again, making sure to let Beautifly evolve at level 10. It should then learn Absorb.

I actually had another thought as to what this thread may be about...But unless you go to S&M, you probably wouldn't. I lol'd actually, but then I read it.

On topic though, yes, if you evolve it at level 10 it should learn absorb, but any level above 10 and it won't other than via move tutor.

.......... Why have absorb when you can have mega drain keep leveling up and he learns learns it so you can be a happy person!!!!! Mega drain is much stronger so be glad to have it!
