let's compare these tcg games, and see what they have in common and what they don't have in common, but i'll need your help to do that.

i'll work on the magic part w/ kenny and some other guys

Magic The Gathering also known as
    Magic or MTG
    history: about 11 years.
the goal of the game: to get your opponent's life points down to zero, if either you or your opponent has no cards in the library then that player loses.
versions of magic: Casual, Limited (draft/sealed), Standard (type 2), Extended, Legacy (type 1.5), Vintage (type 1)
a card that even people who play different tcgs should know:Black Lotus.
    current popular metagame decks:Affinity,Rock,Ponza,Blue/Green,FreshMaker,Mono-Green,Mono-Blue.
a brief description: as many of you yu-gi-oh players know, there are decks that use what kind of monster type there are such as fiend decks, goblin decks and etc but for magic we play with colors. The 5 colors are Red,Blue,Green,Black,White and Artifacts (no color), because magic has 5 colors and artifacts, there are plenty of decks you can build, and there are also decks you can built with monster types like yu-gi-oh, some examples are goblins, elves, zombies and etc.

MTG & DM have MUCH more in common than YGO & MTG..

YGO has way more types(color) than MTG..
there are many cards people would know even if they played other tcgs.. (DM, BEWD etc) thats all I can think of right now...

Kenny: YGO has 6 attributes to Magic's 5 colours.
