All her blanks have a pentagon so... maybe the pentagon is something important in the blanks or the set he is planning to make with the blanks.

It doesn't have a purpose, it just fills the empty space. I'll get to the trainer card sometime very soon.

Wow. Nice Placements, but I suggest that you put a simple margin on the yellow box to look more realistic.
