Alright, I just want to say that I got the inspiration for this RP from this song: Black and Gold - Sam Sparro


plot.
If each of us were given a chance to do something new and exciting, we would leap forward and grab it without a doubt. There would be no voices in our head telling us to stop or quit, only the rush of adrenaline throughout our bodies as the boring life we knew before would begin to fail to keep up with us.

That chance has come.

A world of crime mobs, deception, sex, drugs, money, and all other things that make the world go round run rampant. Every street is littered with thugs and each alley is riddled with surprises. Take each step with caution for it could be your last. There is another thing that is peculiar about this world:

Everything is not as it seems.

During the day, all is normal.
During the night, the moon turns gold, and surprises await you.

synopsis.
You are a person living in this world rampant with crime and gangs. Each day is filled with surprises and the danger of being killed one way or another. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. During the day, you live your normal life. During the night, when the moon turns gold, you live the life you want to live.

As I have stated, during the day you are you, no strings attached. There isn't that much special about you. This is what your character is like before the moon turns gold.

Name: Devon Erik le Vista
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Appearance: Here is what he looks like, except with brown eyes, not yellow.
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 160 lbs.
Occupation: College student, journalist.
Family: He takes care of his younger sister, Ariana le Vista, after their mother died. Their dad left them and Devon has not been in contact with him since. He also has an older brother, but he is away on tour in the military.
Personality: Devon is very carefree and enjoys the finer things in life. He enjoys school and finds joy in writing, his passion. He is always seen smiling or reading a book. Other than that, Devon enjoys sitting around his house playing video games with his sister Ariana. He has a strong protective instinct to protect those he loves and will do anything to keep his sister happy. He also has a medical condition which makes him susceptible to illness, but that doesn't stop his tenacity.
History: Devon was raised in a very well-to-do family. His father was an executive for a multi-million dollar company and his mother was a published musician. His older brother was a prodigy and graduated high school at the age of 14, went on and graduated college, then waited a few years before enlisting in the military. His younger sister, Ariana, follows in the footsteps of their mother and plays both piano and cello.

When Devon was young, he was diagnosed with a condition that drastically lowered his immune system, though it was determined it wasn't HIV. This rendered him constantly weak and frail and, during one instance, he was hospitalized for a month. This didn't stop him from writing, a habit that his mother noticed. During Devon's stay in the hospital when he was 11, his mother and father got into a huge argument. Devon returned home to the knowledge that his father had left him. Devon harbored a grudge against his father at such a young age and vowed to be there for his 1-year-old sister Ariana since his brother was out of the house.

One day, when he was 13, Devon's mother contracted Dengue Fever and died a week later. Devon and his sister lived with their brother until Devon got enough money to buy an apartment before their brother left for his tour with the military. Since then, Devon has cared for his sister while funding his and her education.


NIGHT
Name: Eric Levi
Occupation: Professional assassin
Abilities: Levi's senses are heightened at night, allowing him superhuman reflexes. He also has increased endurance and strength as well as the ability to project ice from his hands.
Personality: Levi is completely different than Devon. While Devon is caring and loving, Levi is cold, heartless, and ruthless and only cares about two people: himself and Ariana. He will stop at nothing to eliminate a target and will only admit defeat when he knows that there are no other options. He is a skilled fighter and a force to be reckoned with, especially when a pistol is in his hands.
Weapons: Two silenced pistols, a sniper rifle and sword that he carries on his back, a dagger, throwing knives.
Other stuff: Nothing.
