5th Gen Black and White's American Release date

    Now don't get too excited. I'm not 100% that this goes here. Anyway, I work at Toys R Us and we got in our list of up coming game released. For the Nintendo DS, Pokemon Black and Pokemon White were listed under April of 2011.

    Targeted to be an Easter release, the Games showed an April First release date. Before people jump on and start yelling April Fools, I went to two game stores, Game Stop and Play N Trade. They had the same date listed on theirs. While I know April First is not the official date of release, Store have a suggested time of release and can take Pre-Orders sooner thanks to it.

    So yes, expect Pokemon Black and White to be out in America some where near Easter.
     
    Oftentimes, they use the first of the month as just a placeholder until the specific date within that month will be decided. For all we know, it could be 4/1 or 4/30 at this point. XD

    At least we know the tentative month. :P

    That's what my Co-Worker and the lady I talked to at Game Stop said.

    Also found that they are doing Pre-Orders on Gamestop.com for Pokemon Black.

    Looking on Bulbapedia, but not finding the supposed release dates for Black and white yet. Did find one for the new Ranger's game though and it says sometime in March.

    "Nintendo of America has announced release dates for two upcoming Pokémon spinoff titles, PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure and Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. PokéPark Wii will be released November 1, while Ranger: Guardian Signs will be released October 4.
    PokéPark Wii was released in Japan on December 5, 2009, in Europe July 9, and is set to be released in Australia on September 23. Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs was release in Japan on March 6, and is set for release in November in Europe."

    Wow the games are only $35. thats pretty awesome i must say, now i think ill buy both or reserve both at once. and thats a day after my B-day. :D

    i like zekrom :P but i only preordered emerald, it was the only one awesome enough to be preordered by me :P
     
    Yess. Just in time for a whole Spring Break of non-stop Pokemonz. >=D

    And I thought it'd be more expensive then $35. :3

    I know the one I went to said April cause I made a comment about hoping it wasn't a joke.

    It was dated 4/1/11 Pokemon Black and 4/1/11 Pokemon White. They were at the very bottom of the list that they had.

    The girl I talked to said it was going to be an Easter Release and if memory serves Easter is either in March or April so it can be either of the two. The dates are just place holders so the companies can plan when to start pre-ordering copies.
     
    ...okay? I don't think this really matters, considering the release dates mentioned are pretty far away. When we get official confirmation of a release date, I'll put it in the FAQ.
