5th Gen Black is White...?

As you can see in the above two paragraphs, both fans and potential buyers are WTFing. I doubt the executives over at Nintendo want most of their audience to WTF at their silver franchise. It was a poor decision in my opinion. Will sales continue to skyrocket? Of course! Though I don't think there will be nearly as many newcomers to the Pokémon world this generation, which could have been different. Bad business sense if you ask me.

I hope you're not basing the less newcomers thing on this, because... that's ridiculous. Not being able to understand the plot of Gen IV would be more likely then because the legendaries are switched on the versions names. If version names are all you go by when you buy the games, then something's seriously wrong.

Besides, tons of people here who didn't get the Yin Yang connection, didn't seem all that confused about it. Not to mention the Yin Yang theme isn't even confirmed, it's just been assumed.

Well we had a church in BW, I think the world would be a better place if we only took the time to understand other peoples beliefs :)

I know but that makes less sense, why do they isolate us from the world...stupid media they don't even allow J-pop to be sold at our video stores but they do sell Michael Jackson CD's in Japan...guess they are more greater than America in that aspect...

Im buying White because Zekrom looks cooler to me. If there are better pokemon to catch in Black I would buy that instead.

The target audience for pokemon isn't very old. Little kids are stupid. They would not understand what a Rice Cake was.

Where they are idiots because we don't believe in them...you know kids in other parts of the world are much smarter! In china,Russia, even in Mexico 6 graders learn math that in America we learn in high school...just comes to show how sad of a country we have become :(

Black forest is in black version, white forest is in white version, so need to worry about the yin and yan thing. Its shown pretty clearly in japanese on each of the photos, so i dont know how serebii and pokebeach missed it.
This finalises me on getting black version. A black city is pretty much, what i always wanted in a pokemon game. It reminds me of one of my favourite cities in a game, Moonside from Earthbound. XD im so excited!

Competency of schools =/= intelligence

Take two kids. One is really intelligent, one isn't intelligent.
The really intelligent kid fails/drop outs/pays no attention in school.
The unintelligent child succeeds because of strive/good school system/tutors/parents etc

the unintelligent kid still is unintelligent. it is now only more knowledgeable.

I'm Australian and it's horrible over here.
But I really don't think it's the school's fault. I believe it's parents/families.

Now, I'm not saying I'm smart but when I was young, I was given books,I was read too, I was taken to museums, my family tried to explain things to me. They also catered to what I liked. I liked animals, and I was given a animal encyclopaedia and these little books that are written by Steve parish that are chock full of facts. My family watch the news at least once a day and I've grown up around a lot of documentaries

I know a lot of random facts now, I don't find history etc boring. I have a basic grasp on the English language. but the major thing is, if i don't understand something, i'll go look it straight up and I grasp concepts fast.

Where as my friend, she never had those things done, she doesn't understand why her work gets marked down for spelling when she can't even spell frame right (She spells it farm) She thinks history is stupid, that it's unnecessary and a waste of time. she's 17, and only a couple months ago she read her first novel not for school. But she finds things so hard to understand. Basic Principles go over her head and if she doesn't know something, she doesn't want anyone to explain.


We both went to good private schools for the length of our schooling.

Anyway on topic, if white forest was in black, I'm sure kids would just jump to opposites.

Yeah Black city is in Black and White forest in White :). The natural looking pokemon is where it isn't very natural while the not so natural looking pokemon has the natural looking place in their game, so in a way it's still yin and yang but with nature ;)
