I use whatever I can find first in my backpack... which is never an easy task for me, lol. For pen I usually use black just because I have more. But last year I used my purple and green pens more than anything else. My teacher's didn't really care since we never really had to hand anything in unless it was typed. Usually I just use my mechanical pencils though. My handwriting is so awful too... in 3rd grade I actually had to stay in for recess once because my handwriting was so bad!
 
I have to go for blue because it's prettier and looks better on paper. Although if I use a pen, it's usually pink or purple. Then again, I like mechanical pencils a lot too, seeing as I'm horrible at spelling and always make mistakes...

I've always used a black pen. I have never used a blue pen lol!
 
I usually use blue pen than black pen... Reason of the school material... (they asked more blue pens than black. It's rare that I saw they wrote black pen... even in Elementary School)

I don't think this thread this thread is pointless. It's pretty interesting. o.o; Besides your sticky never said anything about a survey, and this thead is a survey. Anywhoo, back on topico. I prefre black pens which has a nice to touch to white paper and other colored ones.
 
I also like black pen and reason... I can't describe...
 
Does it really matter? If I have to choose, it'll be the first one I pikc out of my pencil case or something like that. XD Black's just black, and blue's just blue. It makes no difference to me whatsoever really... :/

I love writing with blue, i dunno, i'm all for coloured pens. Colour brings everything alive.
But for drawing i use black pens, makes anything look great.

Imo, i don't think this is a entirely 'pointless' poll x.x Like Asher said it's quite interesting, and i like these surveys. I think that was a tad harsh myself Dakota <.<
 
Blue pen, because...I don't know why, it's Blue (da ba dee...)! Um, I guess blue is more fun than black, to me. Black is cool sometimes, like for important things.
 
Blue looks cooler, but I prefer to use black because it looks neater I think.
 
I have to say blue..i dont know why i just think that it looks cooler than black!!
