Black Sabbath to be inducted in the UK Hall of Fame

I heard of this from earlier this week and I think it's pretty awesome. When I first heard that Ozzy declined to be inducted in the US Hall of Fame, I was disappointed because Black Sabbath won't be able to get the same respect as some other great rock artists here in the US. But I was really happy (and as an avid listener of Sabbath, I'm really overjoyed) when I heard he approved of the UK Hall of Fame and that his old band will be inducted in the Hall of Fame. So yeah... maybe because Black Sabbath came from the UK? lol

Really awesome list if you ask me (especially when Dylan and Pink Floyd are in there... not to mention Jimi Hendrix and The Who). But a little bit overdue in the UK... >>

That's a nice list of inductees. I wasn't aware Ozzy declined the US Hall. That's interesting... :\ I'm not a huge Sabbath fan, but I do give them a listen every now and then. No doubt about it, they were a groundbreaking band. It's just too bad that MTV has turned a great rock legend into kind of a joke. Then again...what doesn't MTV screw up??

He said that the fact that a Music Elite gets to chose who go in and not the fans who vote them to go in the Hall of Fame is a scam to him.
