    EV Training is when you train a certain pokemon in certain stats so that they become stronger. You can train them in all stats but only certain pokemon give EVs for certain stats. As far as I know:
    - Bidoof = 1 HP EV
    - Machop = 1 Attack EV
    - Geodude = 1 Defense EV
    - Gastly = 1 Sp. Attack EV
    - Tentacool = 1 Sp. Defense EV
    - Starly = 1 Speed EV

    Battling these pokemon with the pokemon you're EV training will give them the corresponding EVs. Holding Power items will give you 4 extra EVs in a certain stat every time you fight a pokemon.
